Labor Day at Glen Rose

It's Sunday, Sept. 2

We got up before 8 a.m. It was a very pleasant night in the Casita. While Sandi dressed, I walked around Tres Rios again. The sun was right and I managed to capture an image of the confluence of the Brazos and Paluxy rivers.

It was afternoon before we got out. We drove over to Granbury. This time we walked around the old town square and visit the curio shops. The shops have expanded to the streets adjacent to the square since we have been here last.

The town was inandated by a motocycle gang. They billed themselves as a Christian MC gang. However, I noticed several motorcycle "preachers" were preaching to nobody. Nearby a group of bikers were shining their gleeming, chrome bikes or bliping their loud engines. In another 100 years, it will be an Islamic Motorcycle Gang. A motorcycle imam will be giving Quo'ran lessons.

We decided to get an ice cream cone. When started to leave, it was raining. So we ordered a meal. It was 5 p.m. by the time we finished eating. We drove back to Tres Rios in the rain. I think tomorrow we will drive to Clifton or West.
